DEC HASTINGS

For the past five years Dec has been in dozens of short films and plays, both for fun and for festivals. This is his first experience being part of a major stage production - and he couldn't be happier!

Dec believes that as actors, we perform to expose truths - however comfortable - to people we do and do not know. This is why he leapt at the opportunity to be part of S.A.D; to be part of a team of passionate performers and to start a conversation that we can ALL be a part of.

Dec has never eaten food from MacDonald's. Not once.

 THE CAST

CHARLIE WAN

Having been onstage professionally for a decade, Charlie is absolutely thrilled to be focusing on creating a work that will mean something.

Her heart is held in equal shares in the blue eyes of an angel and the paws of a small black Chihuahua named Othello

TERESA WOJCIK

Originally from New Zealand, Teresa studied Music at the university of Otago, majoring in Classical Singing and Composition.  Teresa is a versatile vocalist, performer and composer.

She has flown over from Germany, where she accrued extensive experience in performing, coaching and conducting, to be involved in this special project. Being involved in a purely physical theatre piece, where honesty and vulnerability are paramount, is an engaging challenge.

As a teenager she considered taking up gurning competitively.
